Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, also popularly known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is one of the popular British film and stage actress which gained more attention when she appeared in"Doctor Who" (a British science-fiction TV show) show that aired on the BBC channel. Gugu's role in the show as Tish Jones was extremely popular. Tish Jones is the younger sister of Martha Jones. The audience loved Gugu's bright energy and spontaneity. There was no way to stop her from her successful acting future! She has also worked in a variety of other British stage and television productions to the present. Her work has garnered critical acclaim for her performances in the British period dramas like 'Belle' (2013) and Beyond the Lights' (2014). Gugu Mbatha Raw played the lead role in the stage play "Nell Gwynn" by Jessica Swale as an actress who was also the mistress to King Charles II. The performance was highly praised by critics, who commended her acting talent. The actress went on to win the Evening Standard Theatre Award as Best actress. Gugu's talents in the field of drama were recognized by the Queen Elizabeth when she named her to be a Member of the Order of the British Empire.
Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on the 25th of February, 1975. She was the youngest child from a family of six. The parents of Handler were both householders. Her father was a dealer of used cars. Her mother was born in Germany and immigrated to Germany to the United States as a young woman in 1958. Handler was diagnosed with cancer of the breast in 1989. Her father was Jewish so she brought to Reform Judaism. Handler lived in a safe area and had a happy childhood. In her early twenties, Handler relocated in Los Angeles in order to explore acting. Handler started performing in order to make cash. Handler at the time was 21, decided to focus on stand-up comedy full time after discovering her storytelling skills. Handler began her career in her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly, a reality show with a hidden-camera/practical joke. The series ran from 2002 to2005. Handler began appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler appeared on The Tonight Show for a period of time as a correspondent. Handler was given her first major break when she hosted her E! Show in 2006. The Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran over two years. Handler continued her stand-up career by appearing in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour, within the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have shown Handler's stand-up shows. The show was announced to host the MTV's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. It was only the second female host of the VMAs, after Roseanne Bar.
