Dua Lipa, aka Dua English artist and singer. She was born on the 22nd of August 1995 within London United Kingdom. After a stint as an actress and model she signed with Warner Bros Records. She dropped her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. It climbed to the third spot in the U.K. Chart for Albums. There were eight songs released, among them Be the Only I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules (UK number one). The album also climbed at the number 6 spot within the United States. Lipa was awarded an award at the Brit Awards in 2018 as a British Female Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough Act and her album has been certified as platinum across several countries around the world. Dua lipa was born 22nd August 1995 in London with Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. By virtue of her maternal grandmother, she has Bosnian descent. Her ancestors also come from the Kosovo town Peja. Lipa's two grandfathers both were historians. Gjin and Rina are her twins. Lipa was heavily influenced by music by her father, who was the guitarist and singer in the Kosovan rock band Oda. His father would play music in the family, which included songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead The Police Stereophonics. Lipa was only five when she started singing. In just her ninth year she began singing at Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa sang Beautiful Christina Aguilera's Beautiful, and If Ain't Get You from Alicia Keys. Lipa was signed to Warner Bros. Records a contract in 2014. In August 2015, her debut single New Love came out.
